McCullough Robertson named as finalist in prestigious Property Council of Australia awards

National law firm McCullough Robertson has been named as a finalist in the Diversity category of the 2017 Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation & Excellence Awards.

The Moulis Legal Award for Diversity celebrates the positive contribution made by organisations that demonstrate a holistic and long-term commitment to diversity within the property industry.

McCullough Robertson’s family friendly initiatives such as flexible working options, concierge service, kid’s room, healthy days, grandparents’ leave, paid parental leave and paid super on unpaid parental leave address some of the key challenges facing working families today.

Chairman of Partners Dominic McGann said it was a great honour to be short-listed for an award in what is recognised as the pre-eminent property industry awards program in Australia.

“It is important that we remain progressive, flexible in our approach and willing to adapt our policies and practices to create leadership opportunities with no barriers and an inclusive workplace which allows staff to bring their whole self to work,” he said.

McCullough Robertson has one of the strongest property practices on the eastern seaboard, advising some of Australia’s largest property developers, landlords and funds.

The firm has strong links with the property industry through its active membership with Property Council of Australia (PCA) and its representation on the PCA’s (Queensland) Women and Diversity Committee through Partner, Kristan Conlon.

Mr McGann acknowledged the work of HR Director Louise Ferris, the firm’s diversity and innovation committees and Partners Kristan Conlon and Samantha Daly for their commitment to creating a truly inclusive workplace and a culture of diversity and acceptance.

Award winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner in Sydney on Friday 5 May 2017.
