Pitching the farm to potential overseas buyers? Advertise it first
Agribusiness lead and FIRB expert, Partner Duncan Bedford spoke to Beef Central about the recent Federal Government announcements to further restrict the sale of agricultural land to foreign investors. Any farm sold to a foreign investor must be advertised for at least 30 days. Farm owners will need to factor in the additional time and cost of an appropriate advertising campaign or risk locking out a potential lucrative market.
