McCullough Robertson has successfully assisted leading Australian agribusiness, Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC), with the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) regulatory application and approval process for its acquisition of Madura Plains Station, a significant Western Australian sheep station.
This deal follows CPC’s recent return to large scale sheep production in early 2025 through its acquisition of Rawlinna Station, the nation’s largest operating sheep station, also located in Western Australia. The acquisition of Madura Plains continues CPC’s expansion, further strengthening its agribusiness portfolio and broadening CPC’s presence within the Australian sheep industry.
Our support to CPC in this transaction builds on our earlier work in relation to the Rawlinna Station and Beetaloo Station acquisitions in 2025, and ensuring they receive the regulatory certainty needed for their strategic investments in the Australian agricultural sector.
