Acting in the successful defence of its decision to issue an enforcement notice to remove an unlawful fixed crushing and screening plant a quarry at Kin Kin.
Acting in a proceeding involving impacts at a quarry at Kin Kin, securing an enforcement order under section 180 of the Planning Act 2016 (Qld).
Gold Coast City Council Coronial Inquiry
Acting in a coronial inquiry for an employment relations and safety incident regarding a fatality which included assisting with preparing witness evidence.
Mackay Regional Council Insurance Structure
Advising on the insurance structures for several significant infrastructure projects removing property and liability risks and expedited project delivery through seamless claims management.
Brisbane City Council Enterprise Bargaining
Advising on employment relations across bargaining and the arbitration of its certified agreement. Conducted a review of Council’s absenteeism management, which involved stakeholder interviews and an audit of industrial instruments, policies, and internal practices relevant to personal leave, ill and injured employees, and legislative entitlements.Construction and Major Projects

Advising on the structure and development of the lease for a new residential precinct within one of the Council’s busiest urban areas.
Toowoomba Regional Council Outer Circulating Road Project
Advising on all aspects of the $45 million Toowoomba Outer Circulating Road project, from tender strategy and project documentation through to completion.
Unitywater Upgrade to Kawana Sewerage Plant
Advising on its project to upgrade the existing Kawana Sewerage treatment plant and develop new infrastructure to be able to service up to 500,000 persons in the greater Sunshine Coast Region. Also advising on the development of Nambour STP and contractual issues.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Waraba Project
Negotiating and preparing infrastructure agreements for Waraba (Caboolture West) for Council involving five landowners in NDP1 area, in an individual and a combined agreement involving the provision of internal and external roads and upgrades, park, stormwater and community infrastructure, and an agreement with Stockland Ltd for the same range of infrastructure for the balance of NDP1 and NDP2 areas.
