About Ann
Ann is a dispute resolution senior associate with a particular focus on restructuring and insolvency, corporate workouts and banking and debt recovery. Commercially minded, Ann focuses on reaching practical resolutions in a timely manner.
Ann provides advice to companies and their directors on restructuring and insolvency matters and also advises administrators, liquidators, receivers and trustees in bankruptcy. During her career she has also acted for financiers, including each of Australia’s top four banks, on matters involving enforcement of securities, lender-led restructuring, asset and debt recovery and loss minimisation.
Her experience includes working for small to medium sized businesses as well as publically listed entities within a number of sectors including retail, property, mining and resources.
Ann assists her clients in both an advisory and litigious capacity, often running a matter from the early stages through to a negotiated out of court resolution or successfully prosecuting contested litigation. Her technical knowledge covers complex corporate insolvency, restructuring and workouts and consumer lending and credit as well as complicated issues involving the Personal Property Securities Act.

Acted for the restructure of the Management Resource Solutions Group, a mining services roll up listed on the AIM in London.
Major Banking client
Negotiating an out of court settlement on behalf of one of Queensland’s largest financial service providers for a complex defended claim involving multiple entities and items of security
Personal director advice
Provided personal advice to the directors of one of Queensland’s largest civil construction companies during its restructure.
NQ Group
Advising a financier, and appointing receivers, in respect of a $25 million facility provided to a large heavy haulage business.
Delta SBD Mining
Acted for administrators and liquidators of the group, including attended interstate hearings.

Advised Australian subsidairy of international retailing group in exit from Australia and voluntary administration.
