Leading independent Australian law firm McCullough Robertson Lawyers has announced the appointments of Natalie Kurdian as a partner in the Corporate team and Kate Peterson as a partner in the Employment Relations and Safety team both based in Sydney.
These appointments are part of delivering on our strategic priorities to grow our Sydney office and advance our commitment to women in leadership as we head towards our centenary in 2026.
Natalie joins McCullough Robertson from PwC in Sydney where she spent nine years as a partner. Natalie adds considerable depth and experience to McCullough Robertson’s substantial national Corporate team, bringing with her a strong track record in cross-border and domestic M&A, funds management and financial services law. Natalie’s funds management work is predominantly in the real estate and infrastructure sectors, but she has broad industry experience in a variety of sectors in her corporate M&A and corporate advisory work supporting a range of clients from institutional funds and sovereign wealth clients to large multinationals, private clients and family offices. Natalie worked in the corporate and funds team at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney prior to joining PwC.
Kate comes to McCullough Robertson from employment law and workplace investigation specialist firm Workdynamic Australia, where she has been a key Director driving growth since 2016. Kate has a strong Government practice, as well as a market leading investigations practice, with particular expertise in sensitive, complex and high profile investigations. Kate also has a unique market positioning in designing and leading workplace consultation and culture development projects centred on managing workplace and safety risk.
