Our history
Servicing businesses since 1926.
And Always.

Originally founded by two lawyers, Robert McCullough, a country lad from Barcaldine, and Jack (known as Jock) Robertson, a “city boy with a country heart”. McCullough Robertson was first established as a pastoral practice, supporting Queensland’s primary producers in the small town of Barcaldine where they worked extensively on agribusiness issues for private graziers.
McCullough’s clients in the Barcaldine – Blackall areas faced what their graziers’ association defined as tumultuous political and financial issues during the war and in the early 1920s – increased rental, uncertainty of leasehold tenure and property size

“Our pro bono program is an expression of our values of generosity, commitment and being down to earth. It also provides opportunities for our staff to broaden their experience and give back to those in need, which our people really value. I am honoured to be appointed this role and look forward to continuing to build the firm’s pro bono program and deliver impactful outcomes for the communities in which we live and work.”
