Matthew is a Senior Associate in our Corporate Advisory group, with a particular focus on mergers & acquisitions and equity capital markets.

Matthew has experience acting for a range of clients, including listed and unlisted companies, small to large proprietary companies, early stage ventures, individuals and trustees.

Matthew advises clients on capital raisings, public and private mergers and takeovers, private equity transactions and ventures, funds management and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining McCullough Robertson, Matthew was corporate legal counsel for an ASX-listed REIT and fund manager.

Lederer Group

Advising the Lederer Group family office on a range of corporate matters, including its off-market takeover bid for the Elanor Commercial Property Fund (now LDR Capital Property Fund (ASX: LED)) and subsequent management rights transition.

Vonex Limited

Advising Vonex Limited (ASX: VN8) on its response to competing takeover bids from Maxo Telecommunications Pty. Ltd. and Swoop Telecommunications Pty Ltd.

Diatreme Resources

Advising Diatreme Resources Limited (ASX: DRX) on various transactions, including its off-market takeover bid for Metallica Minerals Limited (ASX: MLM) and silica sand joint venture project with Sibelco.

Accor

Advising Accor (AAPC Limited) on the $70 million sale of its timeshare business, Accor Vacation Club, to Travel + Leisure.

Maas Group Holdings

Advising Maas Group Holdings (ASX: MGH) on various business acquisitions including its $50 million acquisition of a controlling share in Austek Group.

SOCO

Advising SOCO Corporation Limited (ASX: SOC) on its $5 million IPO and $10.9 million acquisition of AXSYM Technology Pty Ltd.
