McCullough Robertson’s Corporate M&A team has successfully advised Italian based earthmoving machinery parts supplier, USCO SpA (USCO), and its Australian subsidiary, Burgundy Peaks Pty Ltd, on its acquisition of the business and assets of the Tilly’s group of companies in Toowoomba.
Tilly’s is a longstanding Australian provider of quality new and used parts for earthmoving machines. Burgundy Peaks acquired Tilly’s existing stock of new parts, certain plant and equipment, and a family-owned brand that has operated across Queensland and New South Wales for approximately 40 years.
The deal was an important one for USCO, with the acquisition diversifying and solidifying USCO’s Australian presence in the earthmoving machinery sector.
Led by Partner, Andrew Bukowski, our multidisciplinary team provided full transactional support, including undertaking full due diligence over the target, negotiation of transaction documents, and attending to settlement of the transaction.
