The Dalian Wanda Group together with Ridong Group formed a joint venture to create Jewel, a landmark $1 billion Gold Coast development consisting of one hotel tower and two luxury apartment complex towers, together with residential amenities and retail spaces.

McCullough Robertson has been advising Wanda Ridong in relation to the development and construction of the development, the largest project being built on the Gold Coast and Australia’s largest beach front development.

As part of advising on the project delivery, we prepared and negotiated all project documentation, including the $670 million head contract with Multiplex, design and engineering consultancies, preliminary works and demolition contracts as well as advising on contract administration issues.

McCullough Robertson also provided Chinese translation services for the purposes of communications with the project team’s head office in Beijing.
