McCullough Robertson has successfully assisted specialist wholesale packaging company, Winson Group, with the divestment of its two logistics businesses: Signet Pty Ltd, and Insignia Pty Ltd – both leading Australian logistics and labelling companies.

Our Corporate M&A team, led by Partner, Andrew Bukowski and Tax team lead by Melinda Peters, advised Winson Group across both transactions.  Demonstrating our ability to provide full-service support to our clients, McCullough Robertson’s Tax, Employment Relations & Safety, and Real Estate teams assisted with the resolution of complex business separation issues and interconnected transactions.

Signet Pty Ltd was ultimately sold to DaiEi Australasia in April 2024, while Insignia Pty Ltd was sold to Peacock Properties in June 2024.  These concurrent transactions concluded a year long sale process and decades long involvement for the Winson Group.
